The T1/T1 Pro Hotend Kit from Flsun is a true quality product. If you maintain your printer properly, this is not a part you’ll need to replace regularly. I have several hundred hours on my original hotend, and it still looks and performs like new.
The nozzles are inexpensive, and you can even use the hardened nozzles from the S1/S1 Pro when printing with tougher materials. That said, a spare hotend is something you should always keep on your shelf. I also strongly recommend buying the hotend fan at the same time, since it’s a less common size and voltage.
Don’t fool yourself into buying the AliExpress knockoffs (you can recognize them by the polished aluminum). They are terrible: uneven weight, nozzle holes that aren’t perfectly straight, and the cheapest possible cables and connectors. The high acceleration of the T1 will destroy those knockoffs quickly, making them four times more expensive in the long run compared to the genuine part.
